I’m 23 and work as a journalist in central London. My current flatmate is moving out so I’m looking for someone to take over his room in this spacious two-bedroom Brixton Hill flat.

The room comes with a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and built-in wardrobe. My flatmate is also up for leaving his desk (for free) if you’d like to keep it.

The flat has a large living room with plenty of storage space. The kitchen is well-sized, comes with gas hobs and a washing machine/ dryer (no dishwasher unfortunately). The bathroom is just a standard bathroom haha.

Contract is rolling and rent is £1000pcm. Bills come to around £150 to £200 and references are required.

Move-in date is anytime from 11th December onwards (when rent is due) but there might be a bit of flexibility a couple days before.

I like to keep a clean and tidy flat but am quite laid-back and easy going. Really looking for someone who isn’t just going to be a person I live with but could actually be a friend as well.

I'm a pretty normal 20-something and enjoy sinking a few pints down the pub or going bar hopping on the weekend. I love movies and cooking (can promise a banging roast dinner) but not that into sports.

Ideal flatmate would be a bloke in their 20s who pulls their weight, enjoys a pub night, is up for cooking, having a drink together every now and then or watching movies. Bonus points if you’re from outside the M25.

No smoking, vaping or drug-taking in the flat please.

FYI: I am a night owl who does shift work so my schedule varies and I get home late often.
